It seems that Ankle tattoos are usually requested by women, because they emphasis their legs and the tattoos can be hidden by opaque stockings. But it is better not putting it on a joint which bends, flexes or wrinkles. So before tattooing in ankle area, ask the tattoo artist avoid this issue.
